Please choose from one of the following options to continue:

Visitors and Contractors – If you are visiting the studio but not in a recording session, for one day or less

One Day Studio – If you are visiting the studio for a session, but not staying the night

If your session lasts multiple days or you are staying overnight at Real World and you wish to pre-register, please contact the bookings coordinator. You can also complete the form when arriving.

In order for the studios to operate as safely as possible we’re putting the following Covid-Safe etiquette in place. We politely request you follow this to ensure that Real World is a safe working environment for everyone.

Upon arrival, please immediately wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap before entering any buildings. There is a bathroom to the right of reception. Please SIGN IN with a member of staff or using the iPad system.

While in the studio:

Stay 2m apart from any other person – this includes at the mixing console and computers
Regularly wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and hot water and/or use hand sanitiser whenever required. Minimum requirement for washing – every two hours
Try to avoid touching your eyes mouth or nose
If you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth with a tissue or your elbow (not your hands). Dispose of the tissue straight away and wash your hands as soon as possible
Wear face coverings whenever possible
Keep time in the studio space to a minimum
Where face-to-face contact is essential and therefore the 2m rule is unavoidable this should be for the minimum time possible, and no longer than 15 minutes.
Obey any one way systems or traffic light system in operation
Put any rubbish into a bin

If you experience any symptoms of COVID-19, please notify us immediately and self-isolate.

This is what we are doing to try and combat the spread:

Providing hand sanitiser and face masks
Providing a second Pro Tools screen/keyboard in the Big Room for a second user, more than 2m away from the first
Regularly cleaning equipment
Pop shields cleaned between every use
Console faders and buttons, keyboards etc cleaned throughout day
Handles/doors cleaned at least twice a day
Bins emptied and cleaned daily
Instruments, surfaces etc cleaned between every use
Ensuring our staff are always conforming to the above requirements
Issuing one-way or traffic light systems in some areas
Additional deep cleaning of all areas including accommodation between sessions

The main symptoms of coronavirus are (as of 10 June 2020)

High temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
New, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or Things smell or taste different to normal

Real World Studios reserves the right to immediately end a session that our management believes is not conforming to these rules or is putting our staff and other clients at risk. Any client or guest showing signs of Covid-19 won’t be admitted and will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
