A beautiful space to write, record and demo music, The Writing Room is Peter Gabriel’s personal writing space within the grounds of Real World. It is a large room with lots of natural light, a view over the river and it is brimming with an incredible array of equipment – both modern and vintage.

The Writing Room is based around a Solid State Logic Origin with the latest Pro Tools HDX. There is also a Bösendorfer 7″ Concert Grand Piano, a second stereo i/o ProTools system and a vast array of outboard equipment. For the full list, please see the Equipment link on the left.

Please note that the Writing Room is not a completely soundproof space and is not always available for public booking.
