Follow Rudimental, Harry Styles, Beyonce and Kanye West by making music in the inspirational setting of Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios.
The Real World Producer Camp in association with HUM is a residential recording session open to musicians, writers and producers of all abilities. Write, record, produce and mix an original song with the help of session musicians, established pop producers and writers, and top-flight engineers. There is even the option to contribute your song to a compilation album, released on streaming platforms the following week.
Everything else is taken care of so you can focus on the music. Our chef will create delicious meals, and homely accommodation is available at the Studios or nearby in the beautiful village of Box.
How Does It Work?
The Real World Producer Camp is inclusive, fulfilling and most importantly, all about musical collaboration. We’ll partner you up based on your musical taste, with the aim of producing an original piece of work over the duration of the camp from the ground up with the help of the renowned musicians and producers.
You need only to bring your computer, interface and any favourite gear with you, we will provide everything else. All of our facilities, gear and staff are at your disposal.
It’s also fun! There will be social events, dinners, parties and you’ll meet a host of new friends. All this in our beautiful surroundings with like-minded people. We can’t wait to welcome you to Real World Studios!
The Pros
Chris Hughes – Producer, composer, drummer
Former drummer with Adam and the Ants, Chris went on to produce major records with Tears
For Fears, Robert Plant, Lloyd Cole and many more. He’s also released his solo work on Helium

Ed Graves – Producer, writer and guitarist
Working in the pop field, Ed has written and produced with Hot Since 82, Alt-J, Secondcity, Liz
Cass amongst many more. He now has his own label and production company – Rainbow Wood
Records. His instrumental skills and capacity to improvise are outstanding, and, although he
doesn’t like to talk about it, his voice is divine! Read more here.
Jantine – Songwriter, vocalist, producer
Signed to Sony Music Publishing as a writer, Jantine has worked with Skrillex, Monsta X, Sonny
Fodera and Sub Focus. Her top-line skills, inspired lyric writing, vocal production expertise and
relentless enthusiasm make her an indispensable part of the team. Listen to Jantine’s

James Hurr – Producer, remixer, writer
Electronica producer and writer of UK chart hit ‘Good Love’ with Hannah Laing, James was
recently ranked in the top 100 dance producers worldwide for 2025. Read more about him here.
John Baggott – Piano, keyboards, synths
John has played with some of the most hip acts around, including Massive Attack, Portishead,
Anna Calvi. He’s also composed soundtracks for films including ‘Sound’ by Nicholas Roeg.

Adrian Chivers – Producer, singer and writer
Adrian has worked with Peter Gabriel, Bryan Ferry, Nick Mason, Midge Ure and many others.
He also performed session vocals for Peter Gabriel and Midge Ure. AD has been an
inspirational and motivational member of the Camp pros since the start. More about AD here.
Steve Evans – Singer, guitarist, engineer, producer
As producer and engineer, Steve has made records with many artists, most notably Robert
Plant, Siouxsie Sioux, The Proclaimers, Goldfrapp and more. He’s also an accomplished singer
and artist, for which his skills will be in high demand over the three days of the Camp. More

Joe Jury – songwriter, vocal producer, mixer
Joe started out as a singer-songwriter, veering into the pop world featuring on many dance
tracks, including “On Repeat” and “Satellites” by Gamper and Dadoni ,
“Drifting Away” by
Audien , and “Lovers On The Run” by Tungevaag with over 50 million streams combined. Joe
also wrote the single INU by artist Tan Jianci which went diamond last year in China. To hear

David Rhodes – Guitar
We’re over the moon to welcome David on to his debut Camp. David’s been playing guitar with
Peter Gabriel for longer than he and we can remember. He’s guested with many other artists,
made a couple of solo albums and composed film soundtracks. For more information see here.
Jim Barr – Bass player and studio owner/engineer/producer
As a session player Jim has worked with Portishead and Peter Gabriel amongst many others.
He’s a member of avant garde band ‘Get The Blessing’ and proprietor of J&J Studios in Bristol.

Rob’s a busy touring & Grammy-winning session drummer and has worked with Siouxsie Sioux,
